TSG Bhasker Urges CBSE to Conduct the Delayed CTET (June-July Session) Examination in the Month of September

Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 3: The Chairman of ANTCC Campaign Committee Mr. TSG Bhasker has urged the Chairman of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to conduct the delayed Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for the June-July 2025 session in the month of September.

In a letter addressed to the CBSE Chairman, Mr. Bhasker highlighted the growing concern among CTET aspirants in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands due to the prolonged delay in the examination schedule.

According to Bhasker, many candidates from remote islands had already travelled to Port Blair (the only designated examination centre in the region), expecting the exam to be held during the usual June-July period. However, the lack of any formal announcement has left aspirants uncertain and anxious. Most candidates, having exhausted their resources, have returned to their native islands.

“Any sudden or rushed announcement of the exam date could disadvantage those who need to travel from far-flung areas, potentially affecting their preparation and performance,” Mr. Bhasker emphasized.

He has therefore requested the CBSE to schedule the examination in the month of September, giving aspirants ample time to make arrangements and prepare adequately.
