TSG Charitable Foundation Launches Medical Stay Facility Project for Patients in Sri Vijaya Puram

Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 30: The TSG Charitable Foundation has launched a noble Medical Stay Facility (Dharmashala) project at Atlanta Point, Sri Vijaya Puram, near G.B. Pant Hospital, with the objective of supporting patients and their attendants coming from remote islands of the Andaman & Nicobar region.

The project was formally launched at Diglipur amidst a huge gathering of local residents and well-wishers. The inauguration was done by Shri TSG Bhasker, Chairman of TSG Charitable Foundation, along with Smt. Rekha Bhasker. The event witnessed overwhelming public participation, reflecting the deep appreciation for the Foundation’s humanitarian efforts.

This Guest House has been specially designed to serve patients and their families from North & Middle Andaman, the Nicobar group of islands, Neil Island, Havelock Island, Little Andaman, and other remote areas who travel to Sri Vijaya Puram for medical treatment at G.B. Pant Hospital. Recognizing the difficulties faced by such families in finding affordable accommodation during medical emergencies, the Foundation has taken this meaningful step to provide comfort, dignity, and support.

The facility consists of 12 well-maintained rooms with attached bathrooms, ensuring a safe and hygienic stay. Additionally, a common self-cooking kitchen facility will be provided to help occupants prepare their own meals, making long medical stays more manageable and economical.

People of Diglipur expressed heartfelt gratitude to Shri TSG Bhasker for his compassionate vision and continuous service to society.
