
Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 12: The UT Level one-day workshop on “PARAKH Rastriya Sarvekshan 2024 and Implementation of Holistic Progress Card” under PARAKH, NCERT was successfully conducted on August 11 at the Conference Hall of Shiksha Sadan, Sri Vijaya Puram. The workshop was inaugurated by Shri Vikram Singh, Director (Education), who was the chief guest on the occasion. In his inaugural address, he emphasized the critical importance of disseminating PARAKH results at all educational levels and stressed the need to initiate comprehensive measures for the holistic development of students. The Director emphasized the need to place greater focus on academic activities for better outcome.
Adding significant value to the event, Professor Indrani Bhaduri, Head of Educational Survey Division at the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi, addressed the opening session virtually through video conferencing. She congratulated the UT administration for their commendable achievements in the Grade 3(Foundational Stage) in PRS 2024 and appreciated the collective efforts of all stakeholders involved in the educational assessment process. Smt. Sangeeta Chand, Principal, SIE shared valuable insights with the participants.
The workshop served as a crucial platform for exchanging innovative ideas, sharing best practices, and fostering meaningful collaboration among different zones. Participants received detailed briefings on various critical components including state report cards, district report cards, and the contextual factors discussed in PRS 2024. The sessions were designed to enhance understanding of implementation strategies for holistic progress assessment across educational institutions. A dedicated brainstorming session on monitoring mechanisms was conducted during the workshop to improve overall functioning across all schools in the territory.
The workshop concluded with a valedictory function held in the evening, where certificates were presented to all participants in recognition of their active participation and commitment to educational excellence.
