Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Day Celebrated at Harminder Bay

Hutbay, March 25: The Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Day (VHSND) was celebrated at Harminder Bay with active participation from community members and local officials. The program aimed to promote awareness regarding health, sanitation, and nutrition among villagers.    During the event, emphasis was laid on improving village-level health, sanitation, and nutrition. Community members were also recognized and awarded for their contributions.

Shri Andrew Moses, First Captain of the Tribal Council, Harminder Bay as the chief guest highlighted the importance of community-driven health initiatives. The Health Educator, Smt. Sagarika raised awareness on critical health issues such as cervical cancer, anemia, and challenges faced by pregnant women, along with practical solutions and preventive measures.

In his concluding remarks, the Block Development Officer, Shri Belthazer assured that such awareness programs would continue to be organized in the future to strengthen community health initiatives.
