
Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 2: The Andaman & Nicobar Rowing Association (ANRA) is proud to announce the outstanding performance of its young rowers at the 45th Junior National Rowing Championship and 08th Inter State Challenger National Rowing Championship, held at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh from 26th to 30th November, where athletes from the Islands delivered remarkable results and brought laurels to the Union Territory.
Ms. B. Haritha and Ms. B. Haripriya clinched the silver medal in the CW2X – Challenger Women’s Double Scull category, showcasing exceptional coordination, endurance, and determination throughout the competition. Their achievement stands as a testament to their hard work and disciplined training.
Adding to the medal tally, the talented duo of Ms. Sneha Toppo and Ms. P. Alagammal secured the bronze medal in the CW2– Challenger Women’s Pair category. Their strong performance and unwavering commitment have brought pride to the rowing community of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The President, Andaman & Nicobar Rowing Association, Shri G. Bhasker along with the Committee Members of ANRA and Coaches, have extended heartfelt congratulations to all four rowers for their remarkable achievements. Their success reflects not only personal excellence but also the growing strength of rowing in the Islands.
