Rangat, Sept. 24: The 11th Ayurveda Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Community Health Centre (CHC), Rangat. The programme commenced with the Ayurveda Day Pledge, wherein all participants pledged to adopt and promote Ayurveda and healthy lifestyle practices for better health and well-being. Dr. Huma Quiser, Medical Officer (Ayurveda), CHC Rangat, delivered a PPT presentation on “Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow” for ASHA Workers, Anganwadi Workers and health staff.
The session highlighted the importance of Ayurveda in everyday life, healthy dietary and lifestyle practices, preventive health and the important role of frontline workers in spreading awareness at the community level.
As part of the week-long Ayurveda Day celebration, various activities were organised, including health and awareness camps, drawing/poster competitions and community awareness activities. Certificates and mementos were distributed to participants and competition winners in recognition of their participation and efforts.
