
Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 13: A group of 15 farmers along with 2 deputed officials are attending a week- long advanced training on ‘Processing and value-added products of honey and hive products’ at the ICAR- Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture (CISH), Regional Research Station (RRS), Malda; West Bengal under MIDH which commenced from today.
The experts from ICAR-CISH, RRS, Malda has designed the sessions combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical demonstration and exposure visits to promote income diversification and sustainable livelihoods to promote honey-based enterprises. This hands-on training focus on modern techniques of honey extraction, purification, storage and development of high value products of honey & hive products.
