Rangat, Dec. 9: A Fixed Day Family Planning Sterilization Camp was held at the Community Health Centre, Rangat from Dec. 1 to 6 to provide family planning services under RCH-II programme. Adequate arrangements were made for patient counselling, pre-operative check-ups and post-operative care. Dr. M.K. Saha, Professor & HOD (Gynaecology), ANIIMS and Dr. R. Narayanan, Professor & HOD (Anaesthesia), ANIIMS were deputed from G.B. Pant Hospital for the Camp. Medical Officers, Nursing staff, ANMs and CHOs coordinated to ensure smooth execution of the camp. The overall camp was held in a befitting manner under the supervision of Dr. H.M. Siddaraju, Director (Health), DHS.
About 171 beneficiaries from Rangat and Billiground underwent sterilization via Laproscopy Lap ligation procedure.
