Nagpur, July 3: The 39th National Under-7 Open & Girls Chess Championship 2026 is currently underway at Nagpur, Maharashtra, bringing together around 440 of the country’s most promising young chess players from across India.
Representing the Andaman & Nicobar Islands are two young chess players, ACM Nuhaan Siddique V. K. and Medhash D, who are competing with great enthusiasm against some of the best young talents in the country. Their participation in this prestigious national championship provides them with valuable exposure and competitive experience at the national level.
The Andaman Nicobar Chess Association has wished both players success and hopes they will gain valuable experience while delivering commendable performances at the national level.
