Hutbay, Oct. 12: The ICDS Department, in collaboration with the CD Block, Little Andaman, celebrated the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah at Harminder Bay, Little Andaman. As part of the celebration, an event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of nutrition and promote healthy eating practices among the local communities, particularly focusing on the Nicobarese community was organized in which, the Nicobarese community actively participated by preparing and showcasing a wide variety of healthy and nutritious traditional dishes.
The programme was inaugurated by Shri Belthazer, Block Development Officer, CD Block, Little Andaman. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri. Fetus, Secretary of Tribal Council, who appreciated the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders and encouraged continued commitment to nutrition awareness and public health.
The celebration was a reflection of the collective commitment towards building a healthier and more nourished society.
