
Sri Vijaya Puram, April 8: The grand inaugural ceremony of “Sanskriti-2026: Andaman & Nicobar Inter-College Cultural Fest,” scheduled from April 8 to 15, was held today in the TGCE Auditorium, marking the beginning of a vibrant celebration of youth, culture, and creativity across the higher education institutions of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The programme, blessed by Shri L. Kumar, IAS, Secretary (Education), and graced by Shri Aditya Sangotra, Director (Education) as guest of honour, was attended by distinguished dignitaries and participants from academia. The event included a warm welcome address followed by inspiring speeches delivered by the dignitaries, who appreciated the initiative of organizing an inter-college cultural platform for students of the islands.
Students from various colleges enthusiastically participated in Patriotic Song Competition patriotism along with fluency and artistic expressions that reflected India’s rich cultural diversity and youthful energy and artistic Rangoli Competition on the theme “Viksit Bharat @2047” also.
The inaugural function witnessed active participation from students, faculty members, invited guests, and members of the public, making the event a memorable and successful beginning to the cultural fest.
