Sri Vijaya Puram, April 15: The Directorate of Information, Publicity & Tourism, A&N Administration has observed that several unauthorized hoardings and banners have been erected at prominent tourist locations across the Islands. Such unauthorized installations not only affect the aesthetic appeal of tourist destinations but also lead to obstruction of public spaces and inconvenience to visitors.
In this connection, all stakeholders, including tour operators, local businesses, and individuals, are hereby requested to remove any unauthorized hoardings, banners, or display materials installed in and around tourist places immediately.
It is further informed that installation of any hoardings, banners, or display materials at tourist locations without prior approval of the competent authority is strictly prohibited.
In case any violation is noticed, strict action shall be initiated against the concerned stakeholder(s)/general public as per applicable rules, including removal of such materials without prior notice.
