
Sri Vijaya Puram, April 19: Mahavir International, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, organized a successful blood donation camp at the Annapurna Gaushala in Calicut, Sri Vijaya Puram. The event was inaugurated with a lamp-lighting ceremony by the Chief Guest Respected Uttam Chand Singhvi Social Worker and Member of Mahavir International, Chennai, in the presence of distinguished guests T. Yeghambaram, Pradhan, Calicut Gram Panchayat, D. Satyanarayan Samiti Up- Pramukh, R. Ratheesh, Sarpanch, Calicut Gram Panchayat and Anoop Gopinathan, Chairman, Mahavir International.
Local residents participated in the camp with great enthusiasm. During the blood donation camp more than 25 people registered, 23 of whom successfully donated blood. The program was efficiently coordinated by Mr. P Mallikarjun, Secretary of Mahavir International, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
At the conclusion of the camp, in the presence of Vice Chairman Shri M Narasing Rao, Shri Yash Prahladka, Director of Mahavir International, A&N Islands expressed his gratitude to the guests, donors, and the esteemed members of the G.B. Pant Hospital Blood Bank. To conclude the program, Shri. K Balakrishnan, member of the organization, provided refreshments for all guests and donors.
“Mahavir International organized this blood donation drive to support our local hospitals and help to address the ongoing blood crisis, ensuring that no patient goes without life-saving care” the Secretary stated.
Mahavir International, Andaman and Nicobar Center, reaffirmed its commitment to continuing such service-oriented activities in the future.
