Sri Vijaya Puram, April 23: The 8th Poshan Pakhwada 2026 under ICDS Project Ferrargunj concluded today with a Poshan Walk organized at the Tehsil Office, Ferrargunj, which was flagged off by Shri. Gopa Kumar, Tehsildar, Ferrargunj. Anganwadi Workers actively participated in the closing event, highlighting the importance of collective efforts towards improved nutrition and child development.
This year’s central theme, “Maximizing Brain Development in the First 6 Years of Life,” focused on the critical role of early childhood care and nutrition. The campaign emphasized five key sub-themes: Mother and Child Nutrition; Early Stimulation for Brain Development; Play-Based Education in Early Years; Role of Parents and Community in Minimizing Screen Time; and Garnering Community Support for Stronger Anganwadis.
The concluding event reinforced awareness regarding the importance of proper nutrition, early learning, and supportive environments for children, reflecting continued commitment towards building a healthier future for the next generation.
