Sri Vijaya Puram, April 27: The Institution of Engineers (India) Andaman Nicobar State Centre celebrated National Maritime Day in a befitting manner in the Conference Hall of Andaman Lakshadweep Harbour Works. The Chief Staff Officer (Technical) Cost Guard Headquarters, Sri Vijaya Puram, DIG Shailesh Rajan was the chief guest on the occasion.
The guests were welcomed by Er. Arun Bepari, MIE, Honorary Secretary (Immediate Past). The program started with the Technical Session by Commandant Naresh Kumar and Uttam Sahayak Engineer Vipin Gulia on the Theme.
The Chief Guest was felicitated by the Deputy Chief Engineer (Mech) and Past Chairman IEI ANSC Er. D. Sathyamoorthy, FIE. Four nominated officer of Indian Coast Guard Headquarters, Sri Vijaya Puram were awarded on the occasion which includes Commandant Naresh Kumar Sharma, Pradhan Adhikari Rama Chandra Lenka, Uttam Sahayak Engineer Vipin Gulia and Shri Pradeep Kumar Kushwaha.
The program concluded with vote of thanks by the Honorary Secretary Er. Debdas Paik, MIE followed by light refreshment.
