Billiground, May 6: On 04.05.2026, acting on credible intelligence regarding illicit liquor brewing in the dense forest area of Nimbudera, a police team from PS Billiground launched a targeted search operation in the suspected location.
During the operation, the team detected and recovered approximately 400 litres of illicit lehan (fermented wash), concealed within the forest. As no claimant or suspect was found present at the site, the entire quantity of recovered lehan, along with the containers, was destroyed on the spot as per due procedure.
