Sri Vijaya Puram, May 10: Demonstrating the spirit of humanity and collective social responsibility, Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi (PBGKR) and HumaneTouch with the strong support of Bageecha and Mr. Sanjay Meshack, Ex-Municipal Councillor, successfully organized a ClothShare distribution program on 10th May 2026 at 10:00 AM at Bageecha, Port Blair. Nearly 90 needy families benefitted from the initiative.
The program highlighted the power of community participation, where different social groups and individuals joined hands to support underprivileged families through the distribution of good quality used clothes under HumaneTouch’s ClothShare initiative.
HumaneTouch extended special appreciation to Mr. Mandeep Grewal and the entire team of Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi for generously contributing clothes and supporting the humanitarian effort. The organization also expressed sincere gratitude to Bageecha and Mr. Sanjay Meshack, who have consistently stood behind the ClothShare initiative since its early days and have remained a strong pillar in organizing such welfare activities in the Port Blair region.
The occasion was attended by executive members of HumaneTouch along with Mr. Denis Giles, Editor of Andaman Chronicle and Patron of Bageecha, and Mr. Sanjay Meshack, Ex-Municipal Councillor. Volunteers and supporters from different walks of life actively participated in the event, ensuring the smooth distribution of clothes to deserving families.
Members of HumaneTouch stated that the ClothShare initiative is not merely a clothes distribution drive, but a message of compassion, dignity, and social unity aimed at reaching those in need through collective humanitarian efforts.
