Sri Vijaya Puram, May 15: The Deputy Education Office, Wimberlygunj, is organizing a one-month Summer Coaching Camp for school students of the Wimberlygunj Zone from May 15 to June 15, featuring various sports activities such as football, volleyball, table tennis, and badminton. The initiative aims to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and skill development among students.
Around 80 students registered and participated in the inaugural session of the coaching camp. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and sports enthusiasts, marking a positive beginning to the summer sports activities in the zone.
Dr. Manoharan, Deputy Education Officer, Wimberlygunj, graced the inaugural occasion as the chief guest. Shri Biswanath Sen, Assistant Director (PE/Sports), Wimberlygunj and Shri Abdul Basir, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Kanyapuram, were the guest of honour and special guest.
