Sri Vijaya Puram, May 26: On successful creation of two Guinness World Records namely Largest Flag Unfurled Underwater, on 02/05/2026 and the Tallest Human Stack Underwater, the next day at Swaraj Dweep by A & N Administration, Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM, (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency announced Hon’ble Lt. Governor’s “ON THE SPOT COMMENDATION” to Shri Vinayak Chamadia, IAS, Director (IP&T) /Nodal Officer, during the closing ceremony, in recognition of his meticulous efforts towards the successful conduct of these GWR events as well as seamless planning and flawless execution in organization of these events.
In a formal function held today at Lok Niwas, Hon’ble Lt. Governor handed over the Commendation Certificate to the officer in the presence of Chief Secretary, Senior Officers of A&N Administration, A&N Police & A&N Forest and also unveiled the full version of the official video related to these two Guinness World Records.
