
Sri Vijaya Puram, June 2: Under the aegis of the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM), a Dental and Eye Health Camp was organized by Sansar Village Organization & Leela Krishna Cluster Coordinator through the FNHW initiative on May 29 at Chouldari Community Hall. The programme was conducted with the objective of promoting preventive healthcare and facilitating access to specialized medical services for the rural community.
The camp was graced by the presence of Dr. Alka Sharma, Dental Hygienist, and Shri T Selvam, Optometrist, Dr. V Yashwant Shiva & Dr. Vishnavi Lall who provided consultation and health advice to the beneficiaries. The specialists emphasized the importance of regular dental and eye examinations for maintaining overall health and well-being.
Officials and healthcare staff from PHC Chouldari, including the Junior Doctor, ANM, and PHN, actively participated in the camp and extended necessary medical support to the beneficiaries.
The camp witnessed active participation from the local community and concluded successfully. The initiative highlighted the commitment of DAY-NRLM and Sansar VO towards strengthening community health and improving access to essential healthcare services in rural areas.
