Sri Vijaya Puram, June 10: The Innovation Hub at the Science Centre, Sri Vijaya Puram, has invited registrations for its annual membership programme for school and college students. The initiative aims to nurture creativity, scientific thinking, innovation, and problem-solving skills among young minds through hands-on learning and project-based activities.
The Innovation Hub provides a platform where students can explore emerging technologies, design innovative solutions, build working models, and participate in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities under expert guidance. Members will have access to tools, equipment, mentoring support, workshops, project development opportunities, and innovation challenges throughout the year.
Since its inception, around 2,000 students have visited the facility, many enthusiasts have also enrolled as annual members and dropped their innovative ideas in the ‘Idea Box’.
The membership details are as follows:
1. Individual Membership
•School Students (Classes VI–XII): Rs. 2,000 per year
•College Students (Science & Engineering Streams): Rs. 4,000 per year
•Batch- Saturday & Sunday: 10:30 am to 1:00pm & 2:30 pm to 5:00pm
2. Institutional Membership
•Schools: Rs. 6,000 per year
•Colleges: Rs. 8,000 per year
•Batch- Tuesday to Friday (10.30 am to 1 pm & 2.30 pm to 5 pm) on prior booking only
