Sri Vijaya Puram, June 10: The Andaman & Nicobar Police, in collaboration with the Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA), will be organizing the 2nd DGP Cup A&N State Open Chess Tournament-2026 at the Drill Hall, Police Line, Sri Vijaya Puram on 27th and 28th June, 2026.
The tournament will be conducted under FIDE Chess Regulations following the Swiss System of Play and is open to players belonging to the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. AICF Registration for the year 2026- 27 is mandatory for participation. An entry fee of Rs. 350/- per participant shall be charged.
The last date for submission of entries is 25/06/2026 up to 1700 hrs. Cash prizes, trophies and certificates shall be awarded to winners in the Overall Open Category. Separate trophies and certificates shall also be awarded to the top performers in the Sub-Junior (Under-15 Years) and Junior (Under-17 Years) categories for Boys and Girls.
