Ferrargunj, June 11: In its continued endeavour to bring governance closer to the people and ensure timely delivery of public services, the District Administration, South Andaman, organized a Camp Court under the flagship initiative “Prashasan Aapke Dwar” at Tehsil Ferrargunj.
The Camp Court was conducted under the Chairmanship of Shri Kamaleshwar Rao S, IAS, Assistant Commissioner, South Andaman, in the presence of revenue officials of Ferrargunj Tehsil. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from residents of the area, who availed the opportunity to interact directly with the administration and seek redressal of their concerns.
A major highlight of the Camp Court was the disposal of 65 diversion cases pertaining to house sites, following due hearing and examination of the applications.
The District Administration, South Andaman remains steadfast in its commitment to responsive, people-centric governance and will continue to organize similar programmes across the district to ensure prompt resolution of public grievances and improved delivery of administrative services.
