Sri Vijaya Puram, July 4: In its ongoing efforts to reclaim public spaces and clear illegal occupations, a major anti-encroachment drive was carried out today near the Junglighat workshop area, falling under Ward No. 9.
During the targeted operation, the enforcement team completely dismantled and removed all unauthorized structures that had been illegally set up on public land. As a result of this decisive action, a total of 207 square meters of land has been successfully freed and restored to the public domain.
The municipal authorities have expressed their deep appreciation and thanks to all the concerned officials, departmental staff, and the police team for their excellent support, coordination, and cooperation, which ensured the drive was completed smoothly and peacefully.
The administration reiterates its warning that encroachments on public land will not be tolerated, and similar drives will continue across other wards in the coming days.
