
Sri Vijaya Puram, July 24: The Institution of Engineers (India), Andaman & Nicobar State Centre (IEI ANSC), jointly with Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (DBRAIT), organized a Technical Talk on “The Engineer of 2050: Designing and Building a Regenerative Future” at the AV Hall, DBRAIT.
The programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr. Sanmukh Kaur, Principal, DBRAIT, who highlighted the importance of innovation, sustainability, and the evolving role of engineers in addressing future challenges.
The technical session was delivered by Ar. Jency John, Chief Architect, Jency John Architects & Engineers, who shared valuable insights on regenerative design, sustainable engineering, and the future of the engineering profession.
The session was highly informative and well appreciated by the participants. Er. Usha Stephen, FIE, Chairperson, IEI ANSC, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of such technical interactions in enhancing professional knowledge. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Er. Debdas Paik, MIE, Honorary Secretary, IEI ANSC.
