Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 12: Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (DBRAIT), Sri Vijaya Puram, inaugurated “Aarambh–2026,” the AICTE-mandated Induction Programme for newly admitted B.Tech students—the third batch since 2024 under the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Institute of Higher Learning (NSCBIHL), of which DBRAIT is a Constituent College. The three-week programme is being conducted from 12th to 29th August 2026 for first-year students of B.Tech Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), and Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE).
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Sanmukh Kaur, Principal, DBRAIT, in the presence of Heads of Departments and faculty members. The programme aims to facilitate a smooth transition from school to professional education by familiarising students with the academic environment, institutional values, facilities, opportunities and campus life at DBRAIT.
Through a blend of interactive orientation sessions, creative activities and co-curricular engagements, the programme seeks to foster confidence, communication skills, teamwork, professional attitude and a strong sense of belonging among the newly admitted students.
