Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 21: As part of the celebration of National Sports Day 2026, the Deputy Education Office, Wimberlygunj will be organizing an Inter-School Hockey Tournament for under- 17 Boys from Aug. 24 onwards. A Road Race will also be organized on 29th August, 2026 at 6 AM from the Mini Stadium, Wimberlygunj, for school students of the Wimberlygunj Educational Zone in the following categories: Open Category: 10 Km Boys and 5 Km Girls (School Students Only). Under-14 Years: 5 Km Boys and 5 Km Girls.
