
Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 24: The District Administration, South Andaman is taking comprehensive measures to ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of the NEET PG-2026 examination scheduled to be held on 30.08.2026 at four examination centres in South Andaman District, namely Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (DBRAIT), Dollygunj, SIS Computer Education, Middle Point and India Technology, Middle Point (two centres).
Ms Purva Garg, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, along with Ms Shweta K Sugathan, IPS, Superintendent of Police (District), South Andaman, Ms Priyanka Kumari, Additional District Magistrate (ADM), and the concerned Executive Magistrates/Examination Centre In-charges, conducted a joint inspection of all four examination centres today to assess the preparedness and review the arrangements in place for the forthcoming examination.
During the inspection, the officers reviewed key aspects including security and law-and-order arrangements, seating capacity and layout, entry and exit arrangements, deployment of examination personnel, availability of essential amenities and other logistical requirements. The concerned officers and officials were directed to ensure that all prescribed guidelines and protocols are adhered to strictly and that requisite arrangements are completed in advance.

The District Administration has emphasized that necessary measures shall be put in place to facilitate the fair, transparent, secure and peaceful conduct of the examination. All concerned departments and personnel have been instructed to maintain close coordination and ensure prompt response to any requirement arising during the examination.
Candidates appearing for the examination are advised to reach their respective examination centres well in advance, carry the prescribed documents and permitted examination materials and strictly adhere to the instructions issued by the examination authorities.
The District Administration has assured that all necessary arrangements are being made at all four Examination Centres to facilitate the safe, secure and hassle-free conduct of the NEET PG-2026 examination on 30.08.2026.
