Diglipur, Oct. 1: A TB Awareness Rally was organized at Diglipur, yesterday, under the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, by the Office of Assistant Commissioner, Diglipur, to create and strengthen public awareness and community participation in the fight against Tuberculosis.
The rally which saw enthusiastic participation from NCC Cadets, MY Bharat Volunteers was flagged off at Administrative Building by Shri Santosh Prakash, Assistant Commissioner, Diglipur and proceeded towards Diglipur bazaar, finally concluded at the initial point.
Dr Shalini Singh, CMO, SDH, Diglipur along with medical staff and various departmental staffs working under Administrative Building marched through the locality carrying awareness placards and raising slogans highlighting the importance of early detection, timely treatment and prevention of TB.
