Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 19: A mass tree plantation programme jointly organised by Botanical Survey of India and the Nature Club, Department of Zoology, JNRM, to mark the World Ozone Day-2025 celebration. Addressing the gathering as chief guest, Dr. Lal Ji Singh emphasised upon the Ozone Layer and human life style and encouraged the students to contribute towards the protection of the environment.
Plantation programme followed by speech, skit, poem etc. The programme began with the plantation of saplings of Rudraksh by Regional Head of BSI and Prof. H.K. Sharma, Principal, JNRM. The members of the Nature Club along with the Scientist of BSI actively participated.
