Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 14: A State Level Science Drama Competition, 2025, was organized by the Science Wing of Directorate of Education, in collaboration with the Birla Industrial Technological Museum (BITM), Kolkata (A Unit of the National Council of Science Museum) Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India in the TGCE Auditorium today. Shri. Gyan Sheel Dubey, HoO, Directorate of Education was the chief guest of the inaugural function.
The students of Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School, South Andaman Educational Zone stood first in this competition and has been selected for Eastern India Science Drama Competition 2025 to be held on Nov. 11 at Birla Industrial & Technological Museum 19A, Gurusaday Road, Kolkata. Altogether, 72 students and 18 Escort teachers took part in the State Level function. The Zonal Level Winner participants from all the 09- Educational Zones of this UT had performed Science Drama on the stipulated theme- ‘Science & technology for the benefit of mankind’. The Dy. Director Education (Sci.) gave away the trophies and certificates to the winners and participants on the valedictory function.
