
Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 29: The A&N Islands Rural Livelihood Mission (ANIRLM), in collaboration with the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR), Hyderabad, organized training programme on Integrated Farming Clusters (IFC) for newly recruited staff, block-level functionaries, and Self Help Group (SHG) members at C.D Block Prothrapur.
Inaugurating the session, Dr. Apurva Sharma, Director, Rural Development emphasized the importance of integrated farming as a sustainable approach to livelihood enhancement, ensuring resilience and income diversification for rural households. The participants were motivated to actively engage in the sessions and apply the knowledge gained in the field for effective implementation of IFC initiatives.
The technical sessions are being facilitated by Shri Babu Rao, Resource Person from NIRDPR, Hyderabad. Over the course of four days, participants will gain insights into the concepts, components, and operational framework of Integrated Farming Clusters, along with discussions on field-level implementation strategies, convergence with other schemes, and community-based livelihood interventions.
