SIR: BLOs to Distribute Pre-Filled Enumeration Forms in Households

Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 13: The Chief Electoral Officer, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri L. Kumar, IAS has informed the general public that the Enumeration Phase under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls is currently in progress.

During this phase, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are visiting households to distribute pre-filled Enumeration Forms (in duplicate) and assist electors in filling the forms. All eligible electors are requested to cooperate with the BLOs and ensure that their details are correctly entered in the Enumeration Forms. If any elector has not received the Enumeration Form as on date, they may contact their Booth Level Officer (BLO) for any assistance, queries, or guidance related to filling the Enumeration Form or its online submission. A dedicated Voter Helpline (1950) has also been set up to support electors and provide details of their respective BLOs.

The Chief Electoral Officer has urged all eligible electors to make full use of the assistance available and ensure that “No Eligible Voter to be Left Out, and No Ineligible person is Included in the Electoral Roll”.
