Mannarghat, Nov. 18: The Directorate of Social Welfare, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, celebrated 5th Anniversary of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) today at Mannarghat Gram Panchayat. The programme commenced at 10:30 am, witnessing enthusiastic participation from general public, PRI members, youths, ASHA, AWW, NMBA Committee members SHGs, and local residents.
Dignitaries from the Police Department, IRCA, Human Touch NGO, and other stakeholders. The programme began with a ceremonial welcome and felicitation of guests, followed by the welcome address and Pledge, urging the community to collectively work towards a drug-free society.
A special attraction of the event was a thematic skit performed by the Police Entertainment Team, which delivered a strong social message on addiction and rehabilitation in a powerful and engaging manner. In her closing remarks, the representative of the Directorate of Social Welfare emphasized the continuous efforts of the Administration under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and thanked all Departments, Resources person and local bodies for their contribution towards ensuring the success of the programme.
