Enumeration Phase of Ongoing SIR to Conclude on Dec. 18

Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 14: The Chief Electoral Officer, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri L. Kumar, IAS has informed the electors of Andaman & Nicobar Islands that the Enumeration Phase of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of electoral roll will conclude on 18th December, 2025.

At the polling station level, the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have conducted meetings with Booth Level Agents (BLAs) and shared the list of uncollectable Enumeration Forms with the Booth Level Agents of the respective polling station for verification. In polling Stations where no Booth Level Agents (BLAs) has been appointed by the recognized Political Parties, the uncollectable list is being displayed at the polling station for public verification.

The ‘uncollectable’ list includes electors marked as ‘death’, ‘Untraceable/Absent’, ‘Permanently shifted’, ‘Already enrolled’ & ‘others’.

Similarly, the Electoral Registration Officer and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers have conducted meeting with representatives of recognized Political Parties and shared the list of uncollectable forms for verification.

The CEO has appealed to all Political Parties and electors to verify the uncollectable list. If any person listed under the uncollectable category is available or traceable, they are requested to immediately contact concerned Booth Level Officers or visit offices of the AEROs, ERO, DEO or call voter Helpline No.1950 on or before 18th December, 2025 to ensure inclusion of their name in the Draft Electoral Roll to be published on 23rd December, 2025. Any person whose name is not appearing in draft roll to be published on 23rd December, 2025 may apply through Form-6 alongwith mandatory declaration form during claims and objections period from 23rd December, 2025 to 22nd January, 2026.
