
Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 28: The Rashtriya Karmayogi Jan Seva Program Workshop was successfully conducted on 26 December 2025 at the ICAR-Central Island Agricultural Research Institute, Sri Vijaya Puram. The workshop formed part of the National Mission on Karmayogi initiative of Capacity Building Commission, New Delhi, aimed at strengthening citizen-centric service delivery through continuous capacity building of government personnel.
In the first batch, a total of 34 participants attended the workshop, comprising Scientists, Technical staff, and administrative staff of the institute. The programme witnessed active participation and engagement from all cadres, reflecting the institute’s commitment to professional development and public service excellence.
The workshop was coordinated by Dr R. Kiruba Sankar and Mr Kanishk Bhukar, under the overall guidance of Dr Jai Sunder, Director, ICAR-CIARI. The workshop covered key modules of Rashtriya Karmayogi, with a balanced blend of theoretical inputs and practical exercises. Participants were familiarised with the core principles of the Karmayogi framework, including role-based learning, competency development, and outcome-oriented governance. The programme concluded with positive feedback from participants, who appreciated the structured approach and practical orientation of the sessions.
