North & Middle Andaman District Police Organises Badakhana on the Occasion of Police Raising Day

Mayabunder, Jan 19: As part of the celebrations marking Police Raising Day, a Badakhana a traditional get-together aimed at fostering unity and camaraderie among police personnel across all ranks was organised on 17.01.2026 at 1700 hrs. The event reflected the spirit of togetherness and mutual respect that characterises the police force, with officers dining together irrespective of rank and role.

The programme was further enriched by a series of cultural presentations, including thoughtfully enacted skits focusing on crime prevention and law-enforcement concerns, along with singing and dance performances presented by talented police personnel. These performances showcased the creative abilities of the force in an engaging and meaningful manner.

On the occasion, prizes and rewards were ceremoniously distributed to police personnel from all units of N&MA District Police, in recognition of their exceptional dedication, professionalism, and exemplary discharge of duties.

The Badakhana served as a meaningful platform to honour service and sacrifice, while strengthening unity, motivation, and collective pride among all units of the N&MA District police.
