
Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 25: The IndiaSkills Andaman & Nicobar Islands – 2025 concluded on Jan. 22 with a vibrant valedictory function at ITI, Dollygunj, celebrating three days of intense competition, learning, and excellence in skill development. The event marked a significant milestone in the islands’ journey towards nurturing a skilled, industry-ready workforce.
Eminent guests Shri Manohar Singh, Retired Superintending Engineer and former Principal, DBRAIT; Prof. (Dr.) Sanmukh Kaur, Principal, DBRAIT; Dr. Manjulata Rao, Principal, TGCE; Prof. (Dr.) P. V. N. Sarma, Principal, Andaman Law College graced the occasion and visited the competition bays and skill arenas, where they interacted closely with the competitors.
In his welcome address, Shri Venketesh.Ch. Principal / Deputy Apprenticeship Advisor emphasized that IndiaSkills is not merely a competition, but a platform that transforms talent into capability and learning into excellence.
The winners, first runners-up, and second runners-up were presented with medals, certificates, and mementos by the dignitaries. The program concluded with the vote of thanks by Shri K Srinivasa Rao, Labour Commissioner & DET.
