
Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb 11: The Management Committee of Gurudwara Dr. Diwan Singh paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner (South Andaman), Ms. Purva Garg, IAS, at her office.
The delegation was led by President Shri S.S. Saluja, along with Vice President Shri B.S. Grewal, General Secretary Shri Swinder Raj Singh, and other respected members of the Management Committee. The committee members formally welcomed the Deputy Commissioner by presenting her with a bouquet and a memento as a token of goodwill and respect.
During the meeting, cordial discussions were held on various matters related to the Gurudwara, its functioning, and its continued service to the community. The committee briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the religious, social, and community welfare activities undertaken by Gurudwara Dr. Diwan Singh.
Ms. Purva Garg, IAS, appreciated the role of the Gurudwara and assured her support and cooperation in matters of public and community interest. The meeting concluded on a positive note, reflecting mutual respect and a shared commitment towards community harmony and development.
