
Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb. 13: The Art & Culture Department, A&N Administration, in association with the National Book Trust (NBT), New Delhi, is organizing the nine-day Andaman Nicobar Book Fair, the second in the series, at the sprawling ITF Ground at Sri Vijaya Puram, from February 14 to 22, 2026. The Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Dr. Chandra Bhushan Kumar, IAS will inaugurate the Book Fair as the chief guest at 10 am at the ITF Ground tomorrow (Feb 14).
Participating in this event, as many as 31 publishers from mainland India have set up their stalls with a wide variety of books of various genre and authors, in different languages. This book fair will provide an excellent opportunity for people to browse through a wide variety of books and purchase them directly from the stalls.
As part of the Book Fair, the National Book Trust is organizing various activities for the students of the Islands during morning hours, while in the evening, literary sessions will also be organized.

The Book Fair aims to foster a love for reading and promote literary culture amongst the people, especially youth & students of these Islands. It would not only benefit readers of all ages but also serve as an opportunity for publishing houses and authors to connect with the public. People have been requested to be part of this Mega Book Fair which will remain open from 11 am to 8 pm from Feb 14 to 22, 2026.
