Hutbay, Feb. 25: A training programme on ‘Creating Self-Sufficient Villages: Strategic Development and New Emerging Initiatives (Theme–6)’ was conducted today at the Panchayat Samiti Hall, Little Andaman. The programme aimed to enhance the understanding and skills of Panchayat functionaries in promoting rural development and sustainability.
The sessions covered during the training included the Concept of Self-Sufficient Villages, Vision, Goals & Framework and Strategic Development Approaches for Rural Sustainability. The participants were also apprised about new & emerging initiatives, Govt. schemes, innovations, and best practices in rural development by Extension Officer, Dr. Vishal Mandal.
