Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb. 25: The general public and all concerned have been informed that there are no separate rules or regulations in the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands mandating issuance of a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for medical practitioners.
Accordingly, any medical practitioner who possesses a valid registration from any State Medical Council or the National Medical Commission is eligible to practice in the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Therefore, no separate NOC from the Health Department, A&N Administration is required for practicing in this UT.
