
Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb. 25: The State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Sri Vijaya Puram has completed 12 days Fast Food stall udyami course which was attended by 34 unemployed ladies hailing from different parts of Sri Vijaya Puram.
The President, ANCCI, Dr. K Chandrasekharan as the chief guest of the valedictory function commended the ladies for coming forward and successfully completing the training and assured all support from ANCCI to the budding entrepreneurs. Shri P K Ummer Farooq, Chief Manager, UTLBC, A& N Islands in his address congratulated the trainees for choosing this trade for their income generation. He advised the ladies living in Municipal Areas to avail the benefits of the PM SVANidhi scheme by registering themselves as street vendors with the SVPMC.
Earlier while welcoming the guests, Shri C Raj, Director of the Institute shared that the trainees were not only imparted training in the preparation of about 36 items during the training period but were also given information about the Social Security schemes of Govt of India, awareness on the available banks deposits and loan schemes, cyber frauds etc.
The programme concluded by the certificate distribution to the trainees by the guests and vote of thanks proposed by Shri S Kaliswaran, faculty of the institute.
