
Sri Vijaya Puram, March 8: A significant step towards promoting reading habits and spreading knowledge in the community was marked with the grand inauguration of a Mobile Library at PM SHRI Government Senior Secondary School, Swaraj Dweep on yesterday near APWD Guest House. The Mobile Library aims to bring books closer to students and community members, encouraging a culture of reading and lifelong learning.
The Mobile Library was inaugurated by the chief guest, Shri Ajit Kumar Roy, Pradhan of Govind Nagar, in the presence of Ms. Ireena, Principal/ DDO of GSSS Swaraj Dweep and several other distinguished guests. During the event, the guests appreciated the initiative and highlighted the importance of books in shaping young minds. They emphasized that access to books and knowledge is essential for the intellectual growth of society.
The Mobile Library is expected to serve students and residents of Swaraj Dweep by providing easy access to a variety of books and learning materials. This innovative initiative will help foster curiosity, creativity and a love for reading among children and youth.
