Sri Vijaya Puram, March 21: An awareness session on career opportunities in the Indian Army was conducted at DBRAIT, providing students with insights into recruitment procedures, eligibility criteria, and various entry avenues into the Armed Forces. The session was delivered by Shri R. K. Sengar, Assistant Recruiting Officer, Recruiting Office (HQ), Chennai, who elaborated on opportunities available after 10th, 12th, Diploma, and Degree programmes, highlighting the importance of discipline, physical fitness, and commitment.
Through an engaging presentation, Shri Sengar explained different entry schemes, career pathways, and preparation strategies for aspiring candidates. He also informed students about the ongoing online registration at joinindianarmy.nic.in, open till 1st April, 2026, and expressed his willingness to assist students in the registration process.
A total of 227 students (100 girls and 127 boys) from Diploma and B.Tech programmes, along with faculty members, attended the session.
