Sri Vijaya Puram, June 12: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced the admission for academic courses in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online mode for July 2025 academic session.
IGNOU provides Certificate, Diploma, PG Diploma, Graduation, Post Graduate courses in various subjects (Arts, Science, Humanities, Commerce, Journalism and Mass Communication, Computer and Information Science, Agriculture, Continuing Education, Extension and Development Studies, Translation Studies and Training, Health Sciences, Indian and Foreign Languages etc.) There is no upper age limit in IGNOU.
For SC/ST students 50% fee exemption is given for certain courses such as Bachelor of Arts (BAM), Bachelor of Commerce (BCOMF) and Bachelor of Science (BSCM). According to UGC guidelines one can pursue two degree/diploma (one in distance mode and one in regular; or two degree/diploma courses in distance mode) at the same time. Transfer Certificate from the last institute is also not required for admission in IGNOU courses.
