Sri Vijaya Puram, March 15: The Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA) successfully conducted the Under-17 -selection trials for the 35th National Under-17 Chess Championship 2026 at the ANCA Chess Centre, Dairy Farm, on 14th March 2026. Around 70 chess players participated in the Selection trials.
Based on their performance and final standings, two players each from the Boys and Girls categories have been selected to represent the Andaman and Nicobar Islands at the 35th National Under-17 Chess Championship 2026, scheduled to be held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat from 30th March 2026.
Girls: Kashthuri Bhai R (First), Charvi D (Second)
Boys: Rohan Singh (First), Virat J S (Second)
