Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 9: The Andaman & Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA) Under-11 team concluded its tournament campaign today with a promising performance by the young players.
Girls’ Performance
The girls led the team’s overall performance. G. Disha Meenakshi secured an impressive 5 points, while T. Aarohi finished with 4 points. Both players showed good fighting spirit, confidence and consistency throughout the tournament.
Boys’ Performance
Among the boys, Gaurik Viju scored 3 points, while Krish Raghav Vijayakumar secured 2.5 points. The boys displayed enthusiasm and determination and gained valuable experience from the competition.
The tournament provided the young players with an excellent opportunity to compete, learn from their games and improve their skills.
ANCA congratulates all four players for their efforts and wishes them greater success in their upcoming chess events.
