Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 30: Andaman College (ANCOL) organized a gender sensitization programme exclusively for the staff of ANCOL under the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) today with the objective of promoting awareness on gender equity, safe workplace practices, and prevention of sexual harassment. Dr. S. Jayakumar, Principal of ANCOL, graced the event, and the sessions were conducted by two distinguished resource persons from the One Stop Centre, A&N Islands viz. Ms. Neela Baidya and Ms. Shanti Murugesan. Teaching and non-teaching staff of ANCOL attended the programme in large numbers.
