Applications Invited for Availing Subsidies Under PMMSY

Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 5: Applications have been invited from the eligible Fishers/ Fish Farmers/ Fish Workers & Fish Vendors/ Fisheries Development Corporations/ Self Help Groups Joint liability Groups in Fisheries sector/ Fisheries Co-operatives/ Fisheries Federation/ Entrepreneurs and Private firms Fish Farmers Producers Organizations/ Companies/ SCs/STs/Women Differently abled persons for availing subsidies under the following beneficiary oriented activities of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY).

1. Construction of new pond for brackishwater Aquaculture

2. Input for brackishwater aquaculture

3. Establishment of new fin fish hatchery

4. Refrigerated vehicle

5. Insulated vehicle

6. Ice Plant 10-ton capacity

7. Ice Plant/ Cold Storage 05-ton capacity

8. Construction of New Rearing ponds (seed rearing ponds)

9. Construction of New Grow-out ponds

10. Inputs for fresh water Aquaculture including Composite fish culture, Pangasius, Tilapia etc.

11. Construction of fish kiosks

12. Fish Value Addition

13. Establishment of Open Sea Cages (100-120 cubic meter volume)

14. Backyard Ornamental Fish Rearing Unit (both Marine and Fresh Water)

15. Construction of Bio-floc ponds for Freshwater areas including inputs

16. Construction of Bio-floc ponds for Brackishwater /Saline/Alkaline areas including inputs

17. Bivalve Cultivation

18. Construction of Small Marine Fin Fish Hatchery

19. Establishment of small RAS Biofloc culture system (1 tank of 100m3 capacity) (7 tanks of 4m dia and 1.5 m high)

20. Up gradation of existing fishing vessel for export competency

21. Establishment of Bio-toilets in mechanized fishing Vessel

Interested applicants may contact Zonal Fisheries Office, South Andaman or the nearest Fish Landing Centres/Fisheries Sub-Stations for application and further details of the activities and submit the applications in prescribed format alongwith relevant documents to Zonal Fisheries Office, South Andaman/nearest Fisheries Sub-Stations on or before Nov. 26.
